You can earn points by participating in special Sony Television entertainment activities. Check out the Sony Rewards website to learn how to take advantage of these programs.
Example: Wheel of Fortune and Sony Pictures Television Entertainment have activities that let you play along to earn valuable points. If you play the Wheel of Fortune Bonus Puzzle each weekday, you can earn 10 points per game played.
A: No, there is no difference between the points. They are both pooled and available for use on sonyrewards.com.

A: Yes. New Sony Rewards Points have a cash value of $0.01 per point.

A: There is no limit to the number of Sony Rewards Points you can earn. The more online activities you participate in, the faster your points will add up. And if you have a Sony Card your point-earning opportunities increase.
13. Q: Do my points expire at the end of a certain time?
A: You earn Sony Rewards Points on a calendar year basis. You can use your points at any time during the year they were earned and also for an additional three-month period in the following year. At the end of this three-month grace period, the points earned in the previous calendar year will expire.
Example: in 2007, you earn 10,000 Sony Rewards Points. You use 5,000 of your points before the end of December, leaving 5,000 points unused at the start of 2008. You will have until March 31st, 2008, to use your remaining 5,000 points from calendar year 2007. And if you wish, you can combine these points with the points you earn in January to March, 2008. At the end of March, 2008, your unused Sony Rewards Points from 2007 will expire -- but any points you have earned in 2008 can still be used throughout the year 2008 and also for an additional three-month grace period in 2009.
As a Sony Card member, your Sony Rewards Points will expire 5 years from the end of the month in which you earned them. For example, points earned on June 15, 2006, will expire on June 30, 2011. Points are redeemed on a first in/first out basis, so you have plenty of time to select the Sony reward you are most interested in redeeming.

A: That's easy. Just select an item from the catalog and put it in your shopping cart. When you proceed to checkout, we'll apply all of your eligible points toward your redemption. A: With the Purchase Credit Option, you can use your Sony Card to shop at any Sony authorized retailer and apply your accumulated Sony Rewards Points to your purchase to receive a full or partial credit to your account.
Here's how it works:
1. Purchase the Sony item(s) you want with your Sony Card at any Sony authorized retailer

3. Fill out the form, print it, and then mail it to the provided address along with a copy of your sales receipt

6. Q: How long do I retain my privileged status level?
A: Once you complete the 8 or 12 Bonus Round Puzzle Solutions required within a one-month period, you will automatically attain the appropriate privileged status level. Wheel Watchers Club will automatically notify you when you have achieved a privileged status level and are eligible to enjoy the special privileges afforded by that status level. Your Club Page will automatically indicate your status level and the Sony Rewards catalog will reflect the new discounted pricing afforded to you for obtaining a privileged status level. Your status level is determined from the time you complete the required number of Bonus Round Puzzle Solutions per month and is maintained until the end of the following month. You can also view your Point History in Your Account section on the website to keep track of how many puzzles you have correctly completed.
Example: You watch the first 12 Wheel of Fortune shows from the beginning of June 2007 and correctly complete the Bonus Round Puzzle Solution for each weeknight show online. In this scenario, you would achieve JACKPOT LEVEL status on June 18th (after you complete the 12th puzzle) and will maintain your JACKPOT LEVEL status until July 31, 2007. In order to maintain your status beyond this date, simply correctly complete at least 12 Bonus Round Puzzle Solutions in July 2007, and so on for each following month. If for some reason you are unable to complete the 12 Bonus Round Puzzle Solutions in a given month, then your status level will be reset to the appropriate level.
Remember, you can easily re-qualify for higher status levels by completing either 8 or 12 Bonus Round Puzzle Solutions the following months.

A: Wheel of Fortune has a specific process to select contestants for the show. Last year over a million people requested the chance to audition for Wheel of Fortune. Fewer than 600 people were selected to appear on the show. Please be aware that an audition does not guarantee you an appearance on the show. Those auditioning will not know by the end of the audition if they have been selected. We will notify by mail those selected to be on the show. The entire audition process lasts about 2-3 hours.

No. You can only participate in this promotion by registering for the Wheel Watchers Club online at wheeloffortune.com OR registering for the Sony Rewards program at www.sonyrewards.com and opting to get a SPIN ID number and participate in the Wheel Watchers Club SPIN ID Sweepstakes.

26. Q: If my SPIN ID number is displayed on Wheel of Fortune, what do I do?
If your SPIN ID number is displayed on Wheel of Fortune, you must verify your information online within 24 hours of the display of your SPIN ID number or you may forfeit any eligibility for that prize. The verification site is accessible by clicking on the "Did My SPIN ID Win?” link on www.sonyrewards.com/wof to verify. To verify your status, input (and thereafter submit) your SPIN ID number, User ID and Password. If your information matches the SPIN ID number that was displayed, you will be notified by phone within three (3) business days to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and a Publicity Release. See Official Rules for complete details.
It means that you are either your SPIN ID number was not displayed on air during Wheel of Fortune, you are inputting the wrong SPIN ID number, USER ID, or password, OR that you are entering your information after the verification period for that week.
If you are declared an Official Winner, your information will be sent to a Wheel of Fortune representative within approximately 4 - 8 weeks of winning. At such time, a representative of the Sweepstakes will contact you by mail and provide prize fulfillment details.
29. Q: Do I have to pay taxes if I am a winner?
All winners are responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes. Winners will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize they won as stated on the show plus $50,000 if they win the Sony Card Bonus Prize.
30. Q: Can I exchange my prize for another prize I saw on Wheel of Fortune or for cash?
Except for the $50,000 prize which is awarded as a check made out to the winner, there is no substitution, transfer, or redemption of prizes for cash.

Second, to be eligible to have your SPIN ID number displayed on Wheel of Fortune for a chance to win the same prize as the contestant on Wheel of Fortune, you must have an "active" SPIN ID number. To have an "active" SPIN ID number, you must have logged in to the Wheel Watchers Club on Sony Rewards website at least once within 6 months of a particular drawing's registration deadline (see Official Rules). If you haven't logged in at least once within the 6 months of a particular drawing's registration deadline, your SPIN ID number will not be eligible to be selected in that drawing.
For example, the drawing for the SPIN ID numbers to be displayed on the show weeks of December 3, 10, and 17, is November 14, 2007. In order to be eligible to have your SPIN ID number displayed on those show weeks, you must have logged in at least once to the Wheel Watchers Club on Sony Rewards website between May 13, 2007 and November 13, 2007. A: You need to have the Sony Pictures Television Rewards set as your home page in order to see the Daily Trivia Question. To set Sony Pictures Television Rewards as your home page, first make sure you're logged in to the Sony Rewards site. Go to the YOUR ACCOUNT section and then click on Update Homepage Settings in the YOUR PROFILE section. Click the round button below the Sony Pictures Television Rewards image. Make sure there's a green dot in the center of the button after you've clicked it. Then, click UPDATE to complete the change.
