PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU ARE NOT 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND A PERMANENT LEGAL RESIDENT OF ONE OF THOSE AREAS. THIS SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND GOVERNED ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF THE U.S.

1.   Eligibility: The Sony Rewards Daily Giveaway II (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to permanent legal residents of the 50 states of the U.S. and D.C., who are physically located and residing therein, and who are 18 years of age or older. If a registrant/entrant is 18 years of age or older but a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must obtain parental/legal guardian consent prior to entering or submitting any personally identifiable information. Employees of Sony Electronics Inc. (“Sponsor”), Chase Bank USA, N.A. (“Chase”), Klick Communications Inc., Sweepstakes administrator, their advertising or promotion agencies, those involved in the production, design, printing, development, implementation or handling of the Sweepstakes, any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent, subsidiary, and related companies, officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, service providers, any other person or entity associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively “Sweepstakes Entities”), members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents), and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes

2.   Sweepstakes Description: This Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 2, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2008 (“Sweepstakes Period”). This Sweepstakes consists of 249 daily sweepstakes drawings (Monday to Friday, except for select holidays which are subject to change). The online entry period for each daily sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. ET and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET that same day, except for the Friday daily sweepstakes which ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET the immediately following Sunday (See Entry and Drawing Chart below). Eastern Time shall control for all purposes of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor’s computer shall be the official clock for purposes of the Sweepstakes. Prospective participants who are not already Sony Rewards members are prompted to register for Sony Rewards located at www.sonyrewards.com (“Web Site”). Once registered, Sony Rewards members will have the opportunity to spin the Sweepstakes wheel, as described below, to determine the number of entries they have submitted in the current daily sweepstakes. In addition, if you have a Sony Card and you created a personal “Wish List” of items/services from Sony Rewards Catalog offerings (see Web Site for complete details) you could choose a Sony Card Bonus Prize from your Wish List (if you are selected as a winner), as described below.

3.   How to Enter: TO ENTER, YOU MUST BE REGISTERED WITH SONY REWARDS. IF YOU ARE ALREADY A SONY REWARDS MEMBER DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN. To enter. If you are already a Sony Rewards member as described above, access the Web Site and log in with your current Username and Password. If you have a Sony Card, and have not already registered your Sony Card, you will be asked to provide your Sony Card Number, Billing Zip Code, and Last 4 Digits of your Social Security Number. This information, if you choose to provide it, will be used to link your Sony Card information with your Sony Rewards information and to be eligible for the Sony Card Bonus Prize, as described below. Once you are logged into the Sony Rewards site, click on the “Play Daily Giveaway” textlink under the Daily Giveaway tab to access the Daily Giveaway entry page “Home Page’). To play the Sweepstakes and enter, follow the online instructions to designate how many Sony Rewards points you want (from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 500 Sony Rewards points per daily sweepstakes) to use for the “spin the wheel” multiplier (Flash Player version 7 compatible browser required) to determine the number of entries you will have submitted in the current daily sweepstakes (provided such points were not previously designated by you in participating in another contemporaneous Sony Electronics sweepstakes). Then, follow the online instructions to spin the wheel to see what multiplier you land on. You must have Sony Rewards points and spin the wheel to enter online. The number of Sony Rewards points you designated will be multiplied by the multiplier (1 to 10) you landed on to determine the number of entries (maximum 5,000 entries based on 500 Sony Rewards points with spinner landing on the 10 multiplier) you have in the current daily sweepstakes (“Reward Entries”). There is an equal chance of landing on multiplier 1 to 10. You can spin the wheel as many times as you wish for a given daily sweepstakes but you cannot designate for use more than 500 Sony Rewards points, for a possible maximum of 5,000 entries, per daily sweepstakes. Sony Rewards points used by a participant for a particular daily sweepstakes will not be usable for other Sony Rewards promotions unless such participant is determined not to be a winner for that daily sweepstakes (see Section 6). To be eligible for a particular daily sweepstakes, Reward Entries must be received between 12:00:01 a.m. ET and 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the weekday entered, except for the Friday daily sweepstakes which must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET the immediately following Sunday. If you are not a Sony Rewards member, as described above, register to become one by accessing the Sony Rewards registration form from the Web Site. You must complete the following information on the registration form: First Name; Last Name; Address; City; State; Zip Code; E-mail Address; Gender; Date of Birth; and your choice of Username and Password (collectively, “Registration Information”). As part of the registration process, if you have a Sony Card, you can register it by providing your Sony Card Number, Billing Zip Code, and Last 4 Digits of your Social Security Number. This information, if you choose to provide it, will be used to link your Sony Card information with your Sony Rewards information and to be eligible for the Sony Card Bonus, as described below. Whether you have a Sony Card will NOT affect your ability to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. There is no fee to register. All Registration Information must be completed in full. Each participant can only register and participate in this Sweepstakes under one (1) Sony Rewards registration. Such registration shall consist of one (1) Username and one (1) email address. Participants who have more than one (1) Sony Registration will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Participants can only participate in the Sweepstakes under one (1) Username. Once a Username has been registered by a participant, that Username cannot be used by any other person for the Sweepstakes (or to register at Web Site). Only the participant registered under a particular Username may participate in the Sweepstakes. Once registered with Sony Rewards, follow the above instructions to enter this Sweepstakes. To enter without using your Sony Rewards Points, legibly handprint your First Name, Last Name, Address (no P.O. Boxes), City, State, Zip, Phone Number (including area code), Email Address, Date of Birth, and your Sony Rewards Username on a standard sized postcard (no larger than 5” x 7”), enclosed in a postage-paid business size envelope (#10), and mail it to: Sony Rewards Daily Giveaway II Alternate Entry – Daily Sweepstakes Date (specify which date you want to be entered), P.O. Box 10698, Burbank, CA 91510 (“Alternate Entry”). Limit one (1) Alternate Entry per person per daily sweepstakes. In order to submit an Alternate Entry, you must already be a Sony Rewards member with a Sony Rewards Username. One (1) Alternate Entry per outer mailing envelope. Each eligible Alternate Entry is equivalent to 5,000 entries into the current designated daily sweepstakes. Although this Sweepstakes starts January 2, 2008, Alternate Entries can be mailed by Sony Rewards members for entry into the Sweepstakes starting December 2007. To be eligible for a particular daily sweepstakes, your Alternate Entry labeled with that particular Daily Sweepstakes day must be received no later than that daily sweepstakes day (the following business day if a holiday). Please allow several days for mail delivery. YOU CAN ONLY ENTER A PARTICULAR DAILY SWEEPSTAKES BY REWARDS ENTRY OR ALTERNATE ENTRY. YOU CANNOT USE BOTH METHODS OF ENTRY TO ENTER THE SAME DAILY SWEEPSTAKES. PARTICIPANTS WHO ENTER A PARTICULAR DAILY SWEEPSTAKES BY REWARDS ENTRY AND ALTERNATE ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFED FOR THAT DAILY SWEEPSTAKES. MULTIPLE ENTRIES/REGISTRATIONS OF ANY KIND IN EXCESS OF THE LIMITS STATED HEREIN WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Proof of delivery or receipt of Reward Entries and Alternate Entries (collectively, Sweepstakes Entries”) will not be deemed by Sponsor as proof of receipt (or entry). Any attempted form of participation in this Sweepstakes other than as described herein is void.

4.   How to be Eligible to Win an Item from your Wish List. If you are officially declared a winner, as described below, in this Sweepstakes and, if you are a named account holder of an activated Sony Card credit card registered with Sony Rewards, then, you can choose to win an item from your Wish List (“Sony Card Bonus”), as described in Section 5 below, instead of the prize posted on the Home Page for that particular daily sweepstakes. If you are not currently an account holder of a Sony Card, you can apply for a Sony Card by going to www.sony.com/sonycard and following the application instructions. To also be eligible for the Sony Card Bonus, as a Sony Rewards member, without having or applying for or registering a Sony Card, legibly handprint your First Name, Last Name, Sony Rewards Username, Address (no P.O. Boxes), City, State, Zip, Phone Number (including area code), Email Address, and Date of Birth on a standard sized postcard (no larger than 5” x 7”), enclosed in a postage-paid business size envelope (#10), and mail it to: Sony Card Bonus, P.O. Box 6279, Burbank, CA 91510 (“Sony Card Bonus Entry”). Sony Card Bonus Entries must be submitted in its own envelope. To be eligible, your Sony Card Bonus Entry must be received no later than the end day for that daily sweepstakes. If you have submitted a Sony Card Bonus Entry for a previous Daily Giveaway Sweepstakes, that Sony Card Bonus Entry will not be retained for this Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) Sony Card Bonus Entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes. Proof of delivery or receipt of a Sony Card Bonus Entry will not be deemed by Sponsor as proof of receipt by Sponsor. Chosen item from your Wish List must have been on your Wish List as of the end time of the daily sweepstakes won (e.g., if you are declared a winner of a Monday daily sweepstakes and you are eligible for the Sony Card Bonus, you can only choose an item that was on your Wish List as of 11:59:59 p.m. ET that Monday.) If you do not have an activated Sony Card credit card registered with Sony Rewards and/or have not submitted a Sony Card Bonus Entry, and are determined a winner as described herein, you can only win one of the daily sweepstakes prizes posted on the Home Page for that daily sweepstakes (i.e., you will NOT be able to choose an item from your Wish List as an alternate prize). If you have NOT created a Wish List as part of your Sony Rewards registration, and are determined a winner as described herein, you can only win one of the daily sweepstakes prizes posted on the Home Page for that daily sweepstakes. To create a Wish List, access the Web Site and follow the online directions. Applying for or possessing an activated Sony Card credit card does not improve one’s chances of winning a Sony Card Bonus Prize.

5.   Prizes / Odds of Winning. Up to 747 Prizes (three (3) prizes for each of the 249 daily sweepstakes). There are two (2) types of prizes available: Posted Prize and Sony Card Bonus Prize.

a.   Posted Prize: During the entry period for a particular daily sweepstakes, the Home Page will post a prize (“Posted Prize”), which is made a part of these Official Rules and incorporated herein by reference. Posted Prize for a given daily sweepstakes may be a Sony Electronics merchandise or memorabilia from Sony-related properties (e.g., Sony Pictures movies). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Posted Prize: $100 to $599.

b.   Sony Card Bonus Prize: If a winner has an activated Sony Card account (in “good standing”, as determined by Chase in its sole discretion) registered with Sony Rewards or has submitted a Sony Card Bonus Entry as described in Section 4 and has a personal Sony Rewards “Wish List” registered with the Web Site, such winner can choose to win one item from his/her Wish List. ARV of the Sony Card Bonus Prize: Up to $1,176.47 if the Sony Card member is part of the Wheel Watcher Club and has attained the Jackpot Level or has submitted a Sony Card Bonus Entry (as described above), otherwise the ARV is up to $1,000.00. Wish List item that can be chosen by winner depends on winner’s status with Sony Rewards (or whether such winner submitted a Sony Card Bonus Entry) and winner’s Wish List as of the end date of the daily sweepstakes won. Privileged membership status in some Sony Rewards programs reduce the Sony Rewards price on Sony Rewards catalog offerings. For details on Sony Rewards programs visit the Web Site. Catalog item pricing for the Wish List is shown listed with points instead of in dollars and reflect the cost by such winner to purchase the item. Each point has a value of one penny ($0.01). If this prize choice is taken, Sponsor will use the existing winner’s Wish List as of the entry deadline for the daily sweepstakes won. Merchandise / services awarded subject to availability. Wish List item value will be based on pricing as of the day the member claims his/her prize. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to replace any merchandise/service in winner’s Wish List with a newer model or version of same; but, in such event, Sponsor will continue to use the value of the “old” [i.e., replaced] item/service for purposes of calculating the Wish List item/service value.

Once a winner verifies online, as described in Section 7, such winner will either win the Posted Prize or if eligible, subject to Section 4, have a choice of the Posted Prize or Sony Card Bonus Prize. Odds of winning a Posted Prize or Sony Card Bonus Prize (collectively, “Sweepstakes Prize”) depend upon the total number of eligible Sweepstakes Entries (eligible Rewards Entries received within the entry period and eligible Alternate Entries received by the end date) for that daily sweepstakes. Limit four (4) prizes per person/Username per calendar year. No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor at its sole discretion may substitute a prize of equal or greater value due to prize unavailability for any reason. Any depiction of prizes, in Sweepstakes materials or otherwise, is for illustrative purposes only. All expenses not specifically mentioned as being included (e.g., any required installation, requested upgrades/options) are excluded and are each winner’s sole responsibility. As applicable, prizes only come with standard Sony Electronics manufacturer’s warranty. Prizes will be shipped to street addresses in the 50 states of the U.S. and D.C. only. Sweepstakes Administrator is not the supplier or guarantor of any prize.

6.   Drawing. For each daily sweepstakes (Monday to Friday, except for select holidays which are subject to change), three (3) potential winners will be randomly selected from all eligible Sweepstakes Entries (eligible Rewards Entries received within the entry period and eligible Alternate Entries received by the end date) for that daily sweepstakes (see Entry Period Chart “Chart” below) in a drawing to be held on or about the next business day following that particular daily sweepstakes (“Draw Day”), by Sweepstakes administrator, an independent judging organization. Nonwinning entrants who submitted Reward Entries for a particular daily sweepstakes will have the Sony Rewards points that they used for that daily sweepstakes returned on or about 2:00:00 p.m. ET on the Drawing Day for that daily sweepstakes if not selected a winner. Nonwinning Sweepstakes Entries will NOT be retained for subsequent daily sweepstakes. Nonwinning eligible Sony Card Bonus Entries will be retained for subsequent daily sweepstakes drawings. If you wish to participate in multiple daily sweepstakes drawings, you must enter each such drawing separately in accordance with the entry procedure set forth in Section 3.

Note: If a Draw Day lands on one of the selected holidays mentioned in Section 2, such drawing will be combined with the next scheduled daily sweepstakes drawing from among all eligible Sweepstakes Entries (eligible Rewards Entries and Alternate Entries received within the entry period) for those daily sweepstakes. For example, if a drawing scheduled for a Wednesday is a selected holiday, then one (1) drawing (for three (3) potential winners only) from among all eligible Sweepstakes Entries (eligible Rewards Entries and Alternate Entries received within the entry period) for the Tuesday daily sweepstakes and Wednesday daily sweepstakes and will be conducted on Thursday (assuming Thursday is not a selected holiday).

7.   Notification and Verification of Winners. In order to win a prize, you must complete the following verification process. In order to win a prize, you must complete the following verification process. To check if you are a winner (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules) for a particular daily sweepstakes, login to the Web Site between 2:00:00 p.m. ET on the Drawing Day for that particular daily sweepstakes and 1:59:59 p.m. ET the next calendar day. Upon successful login to the Web Site the promotion carousel at the bottom of your homepage will display a “Congratulations!” message if you are a winner. Click on the verification link and then follow the online instructions to claim/verify your prize. For example, for a Monday daily sweepstakes, assuming the immediately following Tuesday is not a holiday, you would need to check if a “Congratulations!” message is displayed between 2:00:00 p.m. ET that Tuesday and 1:59:59 p.m. ET the immediately following Wednesday. You MUST access the Web Site to confirm your winning status to win a prize. Upon completing the claim/verification process, if your Username was selected as the winning Username for that daily sweepstakes, you will be immediately notified that you are a potential winner and then directed to the prize page or your Wish List of those eligible items within the prize value limit as described in Section 4, If applicable, choice of prize must be completed by the 1:59:59 p.m. ET deadline noted above. If applicable, once a winner designates his/her choice of prize, he/she cannot choose a different prize. If eligible and if potential winner chooses the Sony Card Bonus prize or if a winner wins more than 1 prize that totals $600 or more, he/she will be contacted and required to complete an IRS Form W-9. If a potential winner does not complete the verification process as described herein, he/she will forfeit any prize eligibility for that daily sweepstakes. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified.

8.   Additional Terms and Disclaimers: Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for Sony Rewards registrations / Sweepstakes Entries / Sony Card Bonus Entries that are entered by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), in excess of the stated limits, or for Alternate Entries and Sony Card Bonus Entries that are mutilated, postage-due, or for Sony Rewards registrations / Sweepstakes Entries / Sony Card Bonus Entries that are illegible, late, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules and all such Sony Rewards registrations / Sweepstakes Entries will be disqualified for purposes of this Sweepstakes. If a winner is a minor under applicable law, then the prize may, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, be awarded in the name of, or to, that minor’s parent or legal guardian. Sweepstakes subject to these Official Rules and all federal, state and local laws. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Sweepstakes; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the operation, security, or proper administration of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event of suspension/modification/termination of the Sweepstakes, a notice will be posted at Web Site, and the affected daily drawing(s) will be conducted from among all eligible Sweepstakes Entries received for such affected daily drawing(s) which were received prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor or prizes for such affected daily drawing(s) will be awarded via some other means determined by Sponsor (in its sole discretion) to be fair, appropriate and consistent with the spirit of these Official Rules. Any person attempting to forge or tamper with the Sweepstakes (including but not limited to the wheel) or otherwise defraud Sponsor will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and will be ineligible to win a prize. By participating, participants (if a minor, his/her parent/legal guardian) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from losses/injuries of any kind, including personal injury and/or death, resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to disputes over Wish List items (such as their respective values) or the acceptance/possession, use/misuse of a prize by winners of prizes; shipping delays of prize merchandise; item/service prize unavailability, human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Registration / Sony Card Bonus Entry / Sweepstakes Entry Information; any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by the Sweepstakes or participant; interruption or inability to access the Sweepstakes, Web Site (including, but not limited to, the spin the wheel multiplier), or any online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrant’s (or any third person’s) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of the Sweepstakes; any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of one of the Sweepstakes Entities. Each participant further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against the Sweepstakes Entities. Sweepstakes Entities are also not responsible for any typographical or other error contained in the Official Rules or other Sweepstakes-related materials (including but not limited to the wheel). IN NO EVENT WILL SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, ANY PRIZE AWARDED HEREUNDER, YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES WEB SITE OR THE DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING OF MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEB SITE. Return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of prize and/or disqualification of winner at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including, but not limited to, income taxes) arising from Sweepstakes will be the sole responsibility of each winner. Each winner who won a prize (or prizes) with a value of $600 or more will receive an IRS Form 1099 from Sponsor/Sponsor’s representative, for the year in which he/she was officially declared a winner, in the amount of the total manufacturer’s list price of his/her prize(s) won. Unless provided otherwise by Sponsor’s privacy policy, located at http://www.sonyrewards.com/en/footer/privacy_legal/, where permitted by law, participation and acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and Chase to use such winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, voice, biographical information and address (city and state) for advertising/trade/publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereinafter devised, in perpetuity, without further notice, permission or compensation, in connection with Sweepstakes, or the prize(s) awarded, and the advertising and marketing thereof. Additionally, by opting-in to specific offers from any of the Sweepstakes Entities, participant’s Registration Information will be subject to their respective privacy policies and/or terms of service (as applicable), and participant agrees to receive additional email communication from those companies. The privacy policy for any Sweepstakes Entity participating in an opt-in will be accessible from the registration form. Opting in to specific offers does not improve one’s chances of winning. Participants also agree to be bound by the Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and/or Sponsor’s representatives, which are final and binding in all respects, and waive any right to claim any ambiguity in these Official Rules or Sweepstakes materials. Submitted Sony Rewards registrations / Sweepstakes Entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

9.   GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION: Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to (i) the Sweepstakes, (ii) the awarding or redemption of any prize and/or (iii) the determination of the scope or applicability of these Official Rules or their enforcement or interpretation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of New Jersey without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. Entrant agrees that his/her claim will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Entrant further agrees that any claim/judgment/award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys' fees; and, under no circumstances, will an entrant be entitled to awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. Should any term of this Section be deemed void, unenforceable or contrary to law, such term shall, but only to the extent necessary to bring this Section within the requirements of law, be deemed to be severed from the other terms of these Official Rules, and the remainder of these Official Rules shall be given effect as if it had not included the severed term herein.

THE PARTIES HEREBY WAIVE THEIR RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL WITH RESPECT TO ALL CLAIMS AND ISSUES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT WHETHER SOUNDING IN CONTRACT OR TORT, AND INCLUDING ANY CLAIM FOR FRAUDULENT INDUCEMENT THEREOF.
